At TechnicalYard Developer Tools (accessible at https://tools.technicalyard.com), we prioritize the privacy and security of our visitors and users. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information we collect, how it is processed, and your rights concerning your personal data.
1. Core Architecture: Client-Side Tool Processing
Unlike many online conversion utilities that upload text to remote backend servers for processing, all primary tools on TechnicalYard execute 100% within your local web browser sandbox.
- JSON Formatter & Validator: Your JSON payloads are parsed and formatted using your browser’s local JavaScript engine.
- JSON Diff Checker: Comparison algorithms run entirely inside your browser tab.
- JSON Minifier: Whitespace stripping occurs locally.
- Base64 Encoder & Decoder: Binary and UTF-8 string conversions are performed via client-side Web APIs.
- Unix Timestamp Converter: Epoch math is computed locally via the client JavaScript runtime.
We do NOT transmit, intercept, log, or store your user-entered code, JSON documents, cryptographic tokens, or text inputs on our servers.
2. Web Server Access Logs
Like virtually all web hosting providers (including Hostinger shared hosting), our web servers automatically generate standard HTTP access log files when visitors view pages. The information collected in server logs includes:
- Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
- Browser user-agent and operating system type
- Referring and exit URL pages
- Date and time stamps of requests
- Requested page URLs and HTTP response status codes
This information is used strictly for maintaining server security, detecting denial-of-service attempts, debugging server configuration errors, and analyzing broad regional traffic trends. Server log data is not linked to personally identifiable information.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
TechnicalYard does not set user-tracking cookies for our own tool functionality. Our tools do not require user accounts, passwords, or persistent login cookies.
Third-party services integrated on our site (such as web hosting infrastructure, content delivery networks, or future advertising partners) may utilize cookies or web beacons in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Advertising and Google AdSense Disclosure
We may partner with third-party advertising networks, such as Google AdSense, to serve advertisements when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize advertising content based on your prior visits to this and other websites across the Internet.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads to users based on their visit to TechnicalYard and other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
- Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or AboutAds opt-out portals.
5. Contact Form Data
If you voluntarily contact us via our website contact form or directly through email (support@technicalyard.com), we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your inquiry. This information is used solely to respond to your technical questions, bug reports, or feature suggestions. We never sell, rent, or lease contact inquiry lists to third parties.
6. European Union (GDPR) and UK Data Protection Rights

We do not sell consumer personal information.
